Hello! And thank you for visiting my website!
Ruthee Garcia is an extraordinarily creative individual. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in photography from Columbia College Chicago. Upon graduation, she decided to utilize her creativity in a surprising area-- the hospitality industry. But after an extremely successful twelve-year career in hospitality, she decided that it was time for a rather challenging and radical change of artistic direction. She reinvented herself and her career path and launched a small, unique business. She calls it catchxstitch.
Her ideas for her new approaches to design, inspired by the career of designer Julia Hart, who started her hugely successful company and career at the age of forty, and also inspired by the story of the character Elizabeth James in the film "The Parent Trap," led Ruthee to a new career path of her own. Like that fictional character of Elizabeth James, who was paid to design dresses, Ruthee made the daring decision to begin her new career by designing and producing masks with matching scrunchies, and she's confident that new ideas will blossom from that creative start and will evolve into an artistically and communally successful enterprise that will be hers and hers alone. And the many gifts of her talents will result in wonderful rewards for her and the many clients who will recognize her masterful artistry.
Please help support Ruthee on her new journey!
